Customer Data Type
Company Data Types
In addition to default Marco data fields, companies can create custom company-wide data types, known as Company Data Types, to collect additional staff information.
Add a Company Data Type
Go to Admin Settings > Company Data Type.
Select Add New.
The Add Company Data Type screen appears.
Enter the Data Type Name, Input Type (Text, Date, or Document), and Display Order.
Choose whether to display the data field in the Personal Tab or Work Tab.
In Notes, enter any additional information about the data type.
(Optional) Select Add More Language to add translations for the data type.
Select Save Changes.
✅ The new data type has been added.
Edit a Company Data Type
You can edit a Company Data Type to:
Change the input type.
Modify the display order.
Edit the notes for the data type.
Add translations for the data type.
Steps to Edit:
Go to Admin Settings > Company Data Type.
Under a Company Data Type, select Edit.
The Edit Company Data Type screen appears.
Update the relevant fields.
Select Save Changes.
✅ Changes have been saved successfully.
Delete a Company Data Type
⚠️ Warning: Deleting a Company Data Type cannot be undone. However, deleted data types can be viewed in Deleted Items.
Steps to Delete:
Go to Admin Settings > Company Data Type.
Under a Company Data Type, select the Delete icon.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
✅ The data type has been deleted.
